Join harpist and singer Hannah Flowers as she celebrates the launch of her debut album “Amhrán na Cruite” (“Song of the Harp”). This album is a celebration of Traditional Irish language song with harp accompaniment. She will be joined on stage by guitarist Dáithí Sproule, flautist/whistle player Cory Froehlich, and
fiddler/dancer Danielle Enblom. Come out and celebrate what is guaranteed to be a delightful evening featuring the beautifully arranged songs from “Amhrán na Cruite” and the enduring stories of love, death and loss intrinsically woven into the fabric of the music.
Hannah Flowers is an award winning Traditional singer and harpist from St. Paul, Minnesota. Classically trained from a young age, she discovered Traditional Irish music as a teenager. Known for her sensitive and lyrical accompaniment of songs as well as her syncopated and rhythmic accompaniment of dance tunes, Hannah enjoys exploring the full depth of traditional Irish music and song. An active performer across the Midwest on the Irish harp, she has performed at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, Irish Fair of Minnesota, La Crosse Irish Fest, and the Milwaukee Irish Fest. She also maintains a busy studio teaching privately and through the Center for Irish Music in St. Paul.
